Anyone reccomend any decent courses for non-members, not too pricey?

Just started playing golf and loving every minute of it.

Hi mate, are you aware of 2 fore 1 vouchers, they will enable you to play on better courses for a reasonable price.

go on website called direct tee times, they send you an email every wednesday and give you special offers for courses in the following week, you can search lots of different areas, some great courses on there

Three off the top of my head, all decent and around £10.

Marland in Rochdale
Altrincham
Walton Hall off the M56

Also Werneth in Oldham you can play without membership and is around £20. Good course for new players, wide fairways and flat.

Pitch and Putt. :)

It's actually a decent course, has a good 9 hole and an 18 pitch and putt which are all par 3. Bit scruffy though.

castle hawk - rochdale 18-hole par 3 and 9-hole long course (expect long q's as most beginners start here)

marland - rochdale, cracking course

manor golf club - worsley

boysnope park - irlam (another cracking course)

tinsley park - sheffield (championship greens)

bradley park - huddersfield (buggy hire ;p)

ellesmere golf club - birkenhead

blundells hill - runcorn

grassmoor - chesterfield

allestree park - derby
