That a tough course , where do you play ? Ours is 135 off white which isn’t the easiest

I have lessons off Curtis Hughes ( marks hughes son ) and he’s a member at Prestbury. He told me they have spent something like £750k on course improvements !!! I played it in a invitation over 20 yrs ago so don’t remember much about it

I’ve had quite a few lessons with Curtis, had no idea he was Mark’s son. And I’ve talked football with him before so he obviously doesn’t advertise the fact. More importantly though a nice fella and a decent coach

No he doesn’t, it was another coach that told me .

1981 in the B & H Masters, it’s got a plaque on it.

Great course, it’s on the reciprocal with Prestbury so hopefully I’ll get back there next year.

Watched a relatively unknown (and remarkably small) Ian Woosnam have 8 birdies on the bounce iirc there back in the 80’s. He finished runner up to Sandy Lyle.
