Hes overrated, its a good reason why RM will get rid.

I would be stunned if we were stupid enough to take him here. NO THANKS

Cavani is our man

this.

Personally I think Cavani is the overrated one. Cavani is flavour of the moment so everyone's wanking over him. I'd take Higuain every day of the week

Cavani is the flavour of the moment ? He's done it consistently for the past 3 seasons and has carried an emerging Napoli side into being a legit title contender.

With his current level of confidence, would be a huge risk. Even with the change of sceneny. So no from me.

However, if Tevez were to leave in the summer for some reason. This guy would be a very valid candidate to be brought in. Hey his game is nothing like Tevez's - but he's the sort of guy who won't complain being the sub striker. A really nice bloke who can make an impact of the bench if he get's his shit together.

Two Seasons ago we were buying a new Forward and it soon became pretty obvious the field was narrowed down to three. Higuain, Benzama and Aguero. My choice at the time was Higuain.

Not for the first time I was completely wrong. A great player still; but I cant think of a major player in World Football who we need less.

It's funny to see the slow changing of opinions. 2 seasons ago everyone thought Cavani was a one season wonder, hugely overated, wouldn't be able to do it again.. Mancini wanted him then, circa 30m IIRC, everyone thought it was a rip off. 99/100 people would have taken Higuain at that time. Fast forward to now and Cavani is the 'most complete centre forward in the world', 40m would be a bargain, and Higuain is shit.

f'king long moment.......call him what you want but he aint no flash-in-the-pan

Rarely see him perform well at the top stage, regularly misses easy chances that a 'natural finisher' should be eating up. Decent player against weak teams but not at all what we need to do better in the C/L.

The stats from LoveCity contradict your opinion. He in fact takes chances better than almost all strikers. If you have seen him play any of the World Cup qualifiers for Argentina you would see that he is a very good finisher. Ironically it is Cavani who has not played well for his country.

I rather like the thought of more Argentinians at City.

I wouldn't have minded Higuain coming after his last season, but seeing him this year has changed my mind. He is not a bad player by all accounts but I don't think we need him. I'd go with Cavani as well!

He was reason for us losing and he scored v Chelsea in their 3-1 win and h e scored v Juventus in a cup game last season where Napoli won.

He was the most prolific striker in open play last season and is on the way to doing the same this season.

He's a bloody good player. You don't have us, PSG, Chelsea, Real and Bayern after you if you're not.
