piss poor performance piss poor result. with liverpool seemingly in the midst of an injury ravaged nightmare. we struggled with a near enough full strength squad, it was they who brought the game to us while we sat back, then after they scored we had 10 to 15 minute spell. that for me is 8th place at best.

lets just hope we actually find a way of beating hull by hook or buy crook

Unable to find space, unable to play a simple ball, unable to keep the ball and when we did have it...HOOOOOOOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adding to that, is it just me? or for all hughes' want of a 'target man' does ade seem to drop off to pick up a missed header 7 times out 10, offering us absolutely nothing in regards to holding up the ball after being hoofed? don't get me wrong i love the guy, but even tevez held the ball better once he came on, albeit the majority of the time he received the ball today was at his feet.

Haha yeh but your assuming that everyone above us will win, who do Spurs play this weekend? I don't actually know, but if they lose, we'll have a good chance of jumping into the top 4 next week :)

Would have taken a draw before the game, but after seeing how poor Liverpool were on the day I'm gutted. If Micah Richards had dropped the bollock that Nedum Onouha dropped, I'm sure he'd have been hung, drawn and quartered on here. Interestingly, Nedum's mistake doesn't even get a mention. Funny that. I hope the manager saw it, and gave him the mother of all bollockings.

No I saw it too, and described it as half-hearted, feeble defending, it was unlike Nedum, but every player should be treated the same and I hope Hughes let him know it wasn't good enough

Good away point. It keeps Liverpool below us and will do zilch all for their morale.

Still, it is very important that we win next week. If top four is the ambition, there are only so many points you can drop, even at this early stage. We can't lose too much ground to early.
