Well, it doesn't feel like a loss like the last few draws have

It was a good point. However, the first half tactics were awful. I've been crying out for 4 3 3 and accept that the formation becomes 4 5 1 when we don't have the ball but it was 4 5 1 even when we had the ball! The players had obviously been told to get it up to Ade as quickly as possible but the line up was so negative he had no support at all. Ireland does not play well when he is given specific defensive duties. Let him play his natural game and let the other team worry about him rather than vice versa. As soon as he was allowed to play his natural game we saw the benefits.

Fair play though, Hughes changed it and the results were positive. I would have loved to see us go for it from the first minute though. I was massively impressed with Tevez and if he continues with that form he deserves a starting place and a formation that builds on his strengths, Ade should be embarrassed that all five and a half foot of Tevez held the ball up better than he managed all game.

Barry needs to be dropped. The benefits he brought to the side early on in the season are now non-existent.
