Good or Bad result?

Would have taken a draw before the game, but after seeing how poor Liverpool were on the day I'm gutted. If Micah Richards had dropped the bollock that Nedum Onouha dropped, I'm sure he'd have been hung, drawn and quartered on here. Interestingly, Nedum's mistake doesn't even get a mention. Funny that. I hope the manager saw it, and gave him the mother of all bollockings.
That is false as I underlined that Onuoah was involved in the two goals.

His approach was weak, too attentist when he came on at the start of second half. Unsurprisingly, Liverpool played his side and his unconfident display led to a misunderstanding between him and Zabaleta. Zabaleta being hot-tempered also helped to yield the free kick.

He was also involved for the second goal as his clearance lacked conviction.

A decent result in isolation.

A poor result given how we fought back to a lead that lasted barely a minute.

If we had a defence worth the name then we would be bang in the Top 4 and looking up.

A decent point that I am now grateful for.

However let's put it into context... the worst Liverpool team in living memory... the manager on the brink of the sack... the owners wanting out... an injury-ravaged squad... their best player out... in their WORST run of form in the past 50 YEARS!

So, okay, a point was fine. But was it enough?

At no stage did we ever look like we were straining for the win.

But the reality is that it's 6 points from the last 6 games... relegation form.
We simply have to now go on a run of wins... Hull at home, Bolton away, Spurs away, Sunderland at home, Wolves away... apart from Chelsea at home they are all winnable.

Or are my expectations too high?

I disagree, after we equalised I thought we pushed well for the win, shame that we constantly lose concentration at the most important times.

I'd rather back us at home v Chelsea than Spurs away...

I am happy that this question is even being asked as it shows progress.

Good result.
