Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

Laughing at that interview. If that was over here... they would grill him.

Gary Cotterill looked like he was shitting himself. Sat in a room surrounded by Italian journalists who are probably Milan fans.

"Erm... I can see you're quite upset".

English journalists not so fucking vocal this time.

yes , all of them bar the woman from RAI who asked about berlusconi saying mario was a rotten apple.

mario now is in the core of the power , there is almost no any journos in italy willing to risk his job - present or future - doing the "wrong question" or reporting what mario will do in his nightlife.

the beatification process is already started and in a couple of months mario will be proclamed Saint Mario

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

hmm yes of course these I don't care comments will be misquoted by the english press, licking their wounds from being shot down by mario.

To be clear, he was answering a question about the english press and their approach to Mario, as opposed to "the english".

I thought it was funny when he said England was bad for the "way I like to drive"

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

What an interesting interview. Mario had really had enough of living here by the sounds. Thought he came across really well though. Loved the Premier league and City but not much else.

he said he loved City , his team mate , his manager and City's fans.

what else should have he loved ? the tabloids ? the referees ? the FArce ??

It is a pity that it didn't work out for him at City, but it could be the right move for him in his career, even though it will piss off Mancio and the rest of the Inter supporters.

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

If another foreign player mentions the weather(and food), I'm going to scream.

It's f***ing raining again and I'm sick to death of Fish and chips. ;-)

TBF they do have a point, but it does get boring hearing the same line(s) trotted out everytime.

BTW, the weather in Milan ain't that great. Especially during the Winter months.

Let's see what the Sun prints tomorrow.

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

Brilliant presser.

Solid answers. Nothing insulting. Very mature words while still being "Mario".

Dying to see how the Sun reports this

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

Milan 5 day weather.

You best get wrapped up Mario. Make sure you've got your umbrella as well. :-)

If it makes you feel any better, Zaba loves fish n chips! Not sure if he's a fan of the rain though....

It was all good apart from him moaning he
wasn't allowed to drive how he'd have liked .
It does highlight his immaturity somewhat.

I thought he was saying the weather wasn't good for the way he likes to drive.
ie: a convertable.

Re: Mario rebuffs the Sun!

Classic! Mario put that twunt from the Sun well and truly in his place and quite right too. I loved the red faced, stammering Gary Cotterill of SSN who seemed to be hiding from Mario's gaze when he asked a fairly low key question. Yes that's the same SSN who ran Mario's vicious and clear cut assault (that neither the Spurs players, the Spurs bench or Howard Webb saw anything wrong with) that nearly killed good ol' Scotty Parker on a loop every 30 minutes for days to make sure he got a retrospective ban.
