It's time to open up champagne bottle. I rather have players who wants to play for our team and don't fuck up as much and score more goals in process. So it's time to step up Guidetti, and Dzeko maybe now can bag even more goals when he has bit less pressure

He's getting better as a player by the hour LOL

Forget Guidetti for this season...

As I keep saying, Nasri can play off a front man similar to Tevez. I make that four. ;)

True mate....I like Nasri

Agree. I'd bring Nasri into the team instead of Tevez who drops deep anyway and frankly isn't playing well.

Keep the same base as recent weeks garcia, milner barry,

Hopefully, Dzeko takes this as a sign that he can't stand there moaning when the game is still going on instead.

sentiment wins fuck all.

What does that even mean? I get you don't like him and respect your reasons but I think you'll find that since he signed we've won a little more than "fuck all" and for all his faults he more than played his part in the trophies we've picked up.
I hope we've got something lined up in the way of a replacement, because personally I'd have kept him until the summer as any injuries up front could cause us no end of problems in the run in.

he was a bad influence on and off the pitch. good riddance. people should go support ac milan if they are so sad to see this clown leave. this is a great day Manchester City!

It's well up for debate wheter he could be one of the greats anywhere. Truthfully, has anyone seen enough from him to truthfully say that he will be?

Do you think we are considerably weaker without him?

As for the crazy shit, is it possible that it's that stuff that we'll miss him for more than anything else?

Weaker without him? Definitely as I rate him far above Dzeko.

And yes I will miss the crazy shit he does, love James Milner but if all our players were that boring things would not have been half as fun these last couple years!

On the marketing side, there are few players that bring what Mario does. I have friends who could not give a fuck about football ask me about Mario because they have heard me tell a story about one of his antics. Everyone loves him, at least here in 'Murica and college age. Ive even got some texts asking me what the fuck has happened..... :(

UGH just saw the AC Milan store already has his shirt for sale! Why god!?!?
The mind boggles.

This is going to sound like a dig (and, to be fair, such a topic is one of my hobby horses, so it would be fair to assume that it is) but actually isn't meant to be:

However, you have to realise that being a fan of a football club to some people is unrecognisible to how other people see it. To me, and most people who have been going since they were young, being a fan of a club is all about seeing that club live and seeing them achieve a result on the pitch.

To people who are supporting the club from miles away, with little genuine contact with the club and attracted by some sort of perceived glamour, things like the shit surrounding Balotelli help differentiate their club from the hundreds of others that could sustain the same function. It adds some colour. If you go every other week to watch the team try to achieve results, that sort of stuff is irrelevant as it doesn't register on your list of priorities. If you are miles away and contact with the club is limited to reading about this far away entity or watching on tv, hearing about Balotelli doing something idiotic is not a million miles away from hearing about another result (although obviously I would not suggest that it is as important in anyone's mind)

Of course 'college kids in Amercia' love him. They could choose to follow any club in the world (although they invariably go for the very successful ones) and all the clubs could, realistically be interchangeable to them. But the one with the nobhead who is always in the news for being a dick makes them able to differentiate between them. Not football support as I know it, but there you go......

I've been watching SSN all day - nothing about Balo on... no official confirmations he's moved anywhere... SSN just ran a bit saying he's back available for selection.
It wasn't on. I am thee most bored person alive right now as my systems are down for work. Thought I might catch a few, perhaps even reduce one or two to tears. I failed. Miserably.

Why take such delight in a great player leaving City?
Because in the end he did not want to be here, no effort on the pitch, skulking around the training ground, and camoflageing your car, hes going get over it, in a few weeks it will be Mario who !!
