If the deal goes through then we've played an absolute blinder. He has done fuck all this season on the pitch and carried on acting the twat off it so his value was only going to deteriorate. I really am not sad one bit about losing him he just never lived up to the hype and caused far too much trouble and attracted far too much negative press. I wish him well at his new club.

I was hoping all these rumors were just that, rumors. Very sad to see him go and I still feel he could have become one of the greats here.

It's well up for debate wheter he could be one of the greats anywhere. Truthfully, has anyone seen enough from him to truthfully say that he will be?

Weaker without him? Definitely as I rate him far above Dzeko.

And yes I will miss the crazy shit he does, love James Milner but if all our players were that boring things would not have been half as fun these last couple years!

On the marketing side, there are few players that bring what Mario does. I have friends who could not give a fuck about football ask me about Mario because they have heard me tell a story about one of his antics. Everyone loves him, at least here in 'Murica and college age. Ive even got some texts asking me what the fuck has happened..... :(
