Or in this case we just don't think Balotelli was that good, or at least not as good as the goodbyes/teenaged tears suggest he was for us. Some do, some don't. Some may even infact actually hate him, though no one has said they do so far. The closest someone has come, ironically and bizarrely, is the weirdo Mancio who has gone from being his biggest fan on here to hoping he breaks 'all his ligaments'. They dont have to: Hatred (or hate) is a deep and emotional extreme dislike that can be directed against individuals, entities, objects, or ideas. Hatred is often associated with feelings of anger and a disposition towards hostility.

I'm not sure about anyone on here but some of the vitriolic comments I've read on this forum about him over the past couple of years equate to the same thing IMO.

A silly thing to say. The thread is full of questions and opinions, some of which mine and others disagree with. That is afterall the point of a forum, to discuss and debate.BluePurgatory said:Pigeonho said:Or in this case we just don't think Balotelli was that good, or at least not as good as the goodbyes/teenaged tears suggest he was for us. Another thing about hate is obsession. You and other seem to be obsessed with Mario. He has gone you should now be happy but for some reason you cant let go.
The full Balotelli thread contained numerous examples, yes. But it needn't apply only to the word hate. The best way of telling was when he left. Those who said they weren't sorry he was leaving because they didn't rate him, but wished him well anyway, those people are genuine critics. The people who posted nothing but bitter snidey comments, and said shit like good riddance, those are the haters.Cheesy said:Has anyone on here actually stated that they hate Mario?

I for one don't 'hate' Balotelli, I have no reason to as he's not done anything to me personally. I don't rate him, which is completely different to hating him, which I would have thought was obvious.
If you say so mate.BluePurgatory said:Pigeonho said:A silly thing to say. The thread is full of questions and opinions, some of which mine and others disagree with. So you can't remember or find any posts on here in which anyone has said that they hate Balo.

Go back to the thread that appeared in the wake of his sending off against Dynamo Kiev and try and tell me some of the downright despicable comments on there weren't borne out of hatred for him.

You're quite bizarrely getting anger at a particular incident confused with hating a particular person. I 'hated' it when Lomas let the ball go out for a throw-in v Liverpool instead of crossing the fucking ball into the box, considering what was at stake. I didn't hate Lomas though, I was merely angry at the incident. Many-a-fan 'hated' things that Edghill did and he became the target of their anger each and every game, though if you asked them post-match i'm sure they will tell you that they didn't hate the man himself in the way you believe the word is meant.M18CTID said:Cheesy said:BluePurgatory said:They dont have to: Hatred (or hate) is a deep and emotional extreme dislike that can be directed against individuals, entities, objects, or ideas. The hatred to our players if they are not cutting it is far worse.
