The report I read says that the suspect, aged 22, was known to the victims, Greater Manchester Police said.
They also said it is being treated as an isolated incident. As it happened at 11.20 pm it looks as if it might have been inside the house and therefore maybe a domestic incident rather than other type of incident.
Which although tragic and horrible is not as grim as it sounds at first.
