Since I am German, I will comment.

Just typical of Bayern really, they already walked the League this season and whilst they have the advantage they are now making sure that they will stay ahead next season too by putting the pieces into place early.

A lesson we hopefully will learn from given our colossal fuck ups in the last 2 transfer windows. I still cannot believe that after winning the title on goal difference we rested on our laurels and actually went to weaken the squad whilst all our rivals strengthened. And it's not like we hardly spent any money, we spent a shitload on flops like Garcia, Sinclair or sicknotes like Rodwell (whose injury record was well known).

I might be going out on a limb here but had we kept De Jong and AJ I doubt we would have been this far behind United. Not saying we would have won the League again but it certainly would not have been this easy for United. The big difference was that they went and spent on v. Persie and he made all the difference.

When you are ahead then it is the time to make sure you stay ahead and that is what Bayern are doing really well.

De Jong wouldn't have made a difference. AJ might have saved a couple of points.....
That said, I agree Maicon and Sinclair turned out to be wastes of money. I still have faith that Rodwell can come around and put in a full season. Garcia is a decent enough substitute midfielder and we've seen him put in good performances so he might come around as well.

I hope the City brass can identify 3 or 4 players that can make a difference and get them.

I really do feel sorry for German football fans who don't support Bayern, it's just unfair but hey that's why we have FFP isn't it to increase competition between clubs.....oh wait!

i just hope to god we dont make the same mistakes we did last year, i knew as soon as we didnt get our targets we wouldnt win the league, especially van persie, de rossi and hazard.
we should go and get reus now, before someone else snaps him up.
