So Kagawa and Gotze are out, I suppose Reus will have to step forward as will some younger BVB players. Their academy and scouting structure is incredible.

no, it isn´t. We have a U19 and U17 championship in germany and in both competitions they are average.
They seem to find some decent young players on the cheap and develop them well.

If Soriano and Txiki were already in place last summer you can be sure as hell that they would not have allowed the team to not be strengthened

Roll on this summer

I just dont understand this at all.

Its like us saying to Scum you can have Silva.

There's nothing Dortmund can do about it. Bayern have triggered his release clause and he's agreed to the terms, it's completely out of their hands.

Feel sorry for Dortmund, bet there fans are raging, Bayern also want Lewandowski to. Maybe we should put a bid in for Muller or Kroos, doubt Dortmund will be up for selling Rues.

Reus has a clause of £24m that can be activated next season :D
Who knows what will happen next season if Dortmund as expected lose Lewandoski and Gotze they could drop even further behind Bayern and Europe he may look elsewhere.

I don't see Bayern looking to sell Kroos or Muller but Robben, Gomez and Pizzaro could well be sold.

its hows the transfer window only stops the player playing for you, other than that why drag or feet waiting until it opens, step in now on our targets

Surely this raises the question, that if we were interested, why didn't we activate the clause?

32m for possibly the 'next messi', bargain.

Exactly. Surely Dortmund would put some pressure on the player to move abroad and not to their biggest rival if an other team had bid.

"Germany international Mario Gotze and his agent Volker Struth have informed Borussia Dortmund that Gotze wants to use his exit clause and join Bayern Munich," a statement on the official BVB Facebook page reads.

So apparently Gotze himself told them he wants to move to Bayern. Very odd. In this case nothing we could have done to prevent it. Still strikes me as very weird why he would want to leave Dortmund at the moment..
