Can you answer me please? howcome there were strategically placed tin rattlers for the war people outside coms on Saturday? they were very intimidating to say the least, i honestly thought tin rattling was illegal hence why they just stand near the doors and silent with tins in hand in Tesco.

At coms, the ones i encountered were when i was cutting through to City Squire Past ent.K? There where 4 of 'em spread out across the path and i tell you they were pretty in yer' face.

It would seem it's ok for these to do this as they are collecting for 'Help For Heroes', ycnmiu mate.

But if it is the system you suggest, I think that would be silly and I would be against it.

why not reverse it? if everyone knows they have the option at the checkout, they could always request to pay. why have another part of life where your mithered to pay up? i give less than i should simply because i tire of answering the door, phone, dodging people in the streets, shops and all over the show. i'm sat having a conversation in the boozer, "would you like to give me some money sir?"

I'm not a lefty no. There isn't a political party that would represent my views. I have some left wing leaning. Social welfare, NHS, nationalization of the utilities. But then again on crime and punishment I'm somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan.

As for not liking you, I don't know you. I do however take exception to any racist insults, particularly ones as nasty as you came out with and especially if it's aimed at a friend. That said, aside from when the incident occurred I have tended to avoid you and my views on this thread are certainly not influenced by it.

My Uncle worked and paid his taxes until the day he died (aged 83) and the MacMillan nurses were excellent. Never paid anything to charities as he didn't believe in it. Are they solely reliant on charity then?

If so, that is ridiculous.
