It seems so which is pretty worrying, my relatives there, all but one are scousers, talk openly of how it is wrong but then don't think their own fiddles are.Reading this thread the consensus seems to be, leave them to it, am I right?
It is a weird place and Derek Hatton is still running the city making a killing from the corruption.
Hopefully the govt. Go in quick and don't hang around long.

The council next door to me is Tory controlled. It's known the leader and certain Tory councillors are using it for their betterment. Being Tory run this is ok.
Maybe the whole system needs to be overhauled but that's another debate.

It seems to be like the Premier League, certain councils are allowed to be bent, others aren't. If your neighbouring council is corrupt it needs calling out.Not for anyone.

My council Is labour run and low and behold they are considering doing the same to that because of 'financial mismanagement'
Councils are cash starved as it is without a cunts of any political affiliation taking our money for themselves.
Wouldn't it save taxpayers money if the government just granted Liverpool independence?
