If so I am a bit disappointed, I was expecting a little bit more from the ps3. It has never really lived up to its potential has it.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good machine, I was probably expecting too much.

The PS3 was an exercise in stupidity and genius all at once. It won the format wars for Sony. That gamble paid off. However, as a gaming platform, it was very difficult to develop for, and developers stuck two fingers up at them and said, we're here to make money, not here for a challenge you arrogant fucks. This has meant that developers develop really for the Xbox and port to the PS3, which puts the two consoles on a level playing field when they never should have been.
