Personally think a move back to villa would be best for him...a total re set of his career and go again
Never go back. Start afresh.

Few clubs could afford his salary and a large fee, so a loan deal would seem to be the easiest way out for all concerned, albeit very costly for City.

As outlandish as it sounds, I think a transfer (certainly not a loan) to the rags, to replace Garnacho, would be ideal for Jack. The 'old Jack' is just the type of player they need... especially if ratface Bruno leaves.

When Jack came back from injury and played in the middle I thought he would make that position his. Had a decent game and thought Pep said positive things. Not sure he started a game at least in the middle since. With Phil, Bernie and Kev all having off patches this season got to wonder what Jack did to not get more games. Unless he’s been dealing with injuries Seems like we’ve wasted a talent to me.
He got a knock right after that Forrest game that ruled him out of the next game and that was his chance really

I’d rather he goes to Spurs. There’s still a good player there and him going to Newcastle could be doing them a favor we shouldn’t. A midfield with Bruno G, Tonali and Grealish would be pretty class.
He has nowhere near the physicality to play for Newcastle, he’d make them worse and fuck up their wage structure if anything

Newcastle? He wouldn’t last — constantly going down and drawing fouls would just frustrate the players and disrupt their rhythm. Newcastle isn’t a place for the soft, and Jack is as soft as they come.
And let’s say it does go through — who does he realistically bench to justify the kind of wages he’ll be on?

Joelinton or Barnes. Besides Bruno and Gordon, they’re missing someone to connect their defense to attack and Grealish would do that. Seems like there’s no point in this discussion anyway since you only think he’s good for drawing fouls.

Look, if Pep wants him to stay and fight for a place, then it's all good, But If Jack is not happy and wants out, then that's ok too, City will want a good fee for him and get some of the investment back, anything over £50million would be the minimum and forget any loan deal,

It’s upto him…Put in the work or bring the bid!

What’s your choice, Jack?
That’s it.

Either get back to top form every 3 days or call the agent to find a move.

We need to free up spaces for quality.

Adamant we need 4 top players. We don’t manage that and it will depend on who currently in the squad can step up.

No one will pay that. He is 30 in September.
We will be lucky to pick up £20m for him with the wages he gets. I’d say it will be a loan deal with us still paying half his wages.

I would like to see Jack play a pivotal role at the CWC. I think he'd relish that tournament and it puts him in the shop window whilst other players get a breather.

Still think jack could do a job for us through the middle, he has never been & never will be a wide player, but by all accounts he’s burnt too many bridges??

Same but he’ll never get that chance consistently enough here. Wouldn’t even bother trying to come back if I were him. If he wants to make the World Cup squad he needs to go somewhere he’ll get minutes every week. Think he does better mentally when he knows he needs to play every week instead of every 2-3 weeks like he does now.
