I rate Grealish highly as he's a very talented player. However, he frustrates me no end. Very rarely does he come out of his shell and play a blinder. He rarely has a proper impact on a game with a match deciding goal or assist. He's often a boring and predictable plodder that defenders most often nullify any threat from him. Last summer having been left out of the England squad he got himself into shape and looked fit and eager to have a breakout season to prove his doubters wrong. I was excited by him hoping he could finally realise his potential and deliver the goods. Jack himself spoke on how he'd underperformed the season before last and he was up for this(last) season. The bubbles in his bottle soon went flat as he mostly flattered to deceive in yet another poor season.
There's a good player in Jack Grealish but Pep hasn't been able to coax it out of him. I really hope his next manager can but I wouldn't bet on it.

He's a confidence player who seems to play well when he's in the right mood but when he isn't we see him taking easy passes sideways and backwards, and not shooting when he should with power and conviction. He has it in him to put in MOTM (like top players do) but he too often plays like he's just going through the motions not wanting to be a winner.
