So you don't know what a fact or a good footballer looks like:-)

I guess I fall on the fact that “showing up” is the minimum, and the results of his work were less than they could, and probably should, have been.
Yes, the £100M has been an anchor that created expectations that have probably not been met, but even discounting the record setting price tag, I think it would take a brave man to suggest that the City version of Jack Grealish has been anything but a shadow of the Villa version.
Yes, he will retire with a ridiculous medal haul for being at City for the last few years, and has done things most players dream of. But, none of that suggests he has been anything close to being “at the heart” of the City Treble winning team, or any other City team for that matter.
I’m certain he’s a great bloke, but then so is the guy who fixes my car. Jack has not, and appears will never, lived up to his price tag or public profile, which is sad, because it feels like he could have been another Rodney Marsh (on his good days).
All about opinions Doku doesn’t inspire me with any confidence, I haven’t seen a lot of improvement since he’s been with us but I accept he’s young etc. Grealish never let us down in the pitch and in big games especially I felt he could be trusted. Pep used to trust him but clearly doesn’t now.Not having he’s better than Doku and Pep clearly disagrees. Add to that Doku seems very committed to his profession and is only just 23 id have hazard a guess that in a year or 2 a 25 year old Doku is much better for us than a 31 year old Jack. If Doku doesn’t improve by then he’ll be gone too but Jack isn’t going to improve from now as he ages.
It's all about opinions, if Grealish had asked to leave during the treble season i'd have been gutted, if Doku asked to leave at any time i'd be a bit 'meh'.Not having he’s better than Doku and Pep clearly disagrees. My bar is ACTUALLY being at the heart of things, not being a second (third?!) tier talent in a world class team.I have given empirical reasons why I believe he was; you have provided nothing to reciprocate that and I therefore have to assume that you feel the same way about Stones, Walker, Ake and Dias.
Like I indicated previously, we obviously have different interpretations as to what being at the heart of things means and your bar is plainly higher.
You are correct, of course, which must be why our record transfer (by a country mile!) was a bench warmer, who not only got dropped from the England squad, but couldn’t get on the field for club or country in recent months! So Pep kept picking him just because he turned up? This is why the argument that Jack wasn't that good falls apart from the off.
Looking more and more like the Rashford situation as the weeks go by.He’s essentially our version of Rashford I.e on wages that his talent and attitude don’t live up to
The reality is, he was never a 100mil player and should certainly have been nowhere near the top of our earner list
He’s a decent premier league player but no one is paying 300k for ‘decent’
I appreciate he’s got lots of fans/followers but I’ve no time for him. Winning freekicks is lazy, opposition players are happy to foul City players where he gets fouled - if he was that skilled at ‘winning’ fouls, why doesn’t he do it in the penalty area. I can’t think of 1 penalty he’s ‘won’ us
He’s a time waster and no matter how many times he gives it the man of the people schtick, I’m not interested
We’ll be lucky to get him out on loan

Performance careers revolve around “What have you done for me lately?” and it’s clear that while he may have had what might qualify as one good season here, Pep and City are actively seeking to ship out our record signing and one of our highest earners.
Not to worry, though, I’m sure his Gucci deal will keep the kid in nappies!
Feral oxygen thief! Should be made to go to every red scum game for the rest of his life as proper punishment!Absolutely. Fit enough to go on the piss, attend football games and slap football players but unfit to work. He should have got community service the little scrote as aside from the banning order and fine, which his parents have paid, he's not suffered at all. He's got the face of a wrong un and I've no doubt this won't be the only time he appears in court for similar loutish behaviour. These are exactly the type of benefit claims they should be investigating.
The one big difference is that he's not labelled as a trouble maker with a questionable attitude.Looking more and more like the Rashford situation as the weeks go by.
I I have yet to see better control of a football than Mahrez, his first touch was sublime!Mahrez, maligned?
In his first season maybe a few people weren’t sure, but after that he was universally thought of as one of our best players wasn’t he!
Like me, 'they' probably dont care at all, about this inane type of comment.Ooooooh they wont be happy about this
Agreed!!Think Jack deserves a second chance for this alone -:)
Both are on high wages so both are going to be equally tough to sell. The one big difference is that he's not labelled as a trouble maker with a questionable attitude.
Grealish is a fans favorite type. Someone will take him.
Rashford would be much harder to shift.

Surely though you are a bit meh now that City want him gone 2 aeasons later. It's all about opinions, if Grealish had asked to leave during the treble season i'd have been gutted, if Doku asked to leave at any time i'd be a bit 'meh'.
None of the above means fuck all apart from it's my opinion
Agree. Gave him a yard or two on any defender looking to close him down.I I have yet to see better control of a football than Mahrez, his first touch was sublime!
