Its good to see in print what we have known for quite a while now, well done SB. Hopefully the national press will get hold of it and it will begin to sink in with every man and his dog. Don't do twitter or FB but if someone could post it on there.....
Done, on the City Facebook page anyway.

Spot on.

At the risk of going against the grain slightly, a footballers cost should be considered in transfer fee's AND wages. Without both arguing value either way is very difficult.

How did that one get through the censorship?

Credit where it's due, that's a good article.

It'll be interesting to see if the paper has decided to get behind us rather than the rags and are deserting a sinking ship as there have ben a few bits lately which are 'anti-rag' which I've seen.<br /><br />-- Thu Mar 27, 2014 12:30 pm --<br /><br />How did that one get through the censorship?

Can someone put a warning on before reading the article.

Nearly choked on my lunch time kebab. Laughing so much ive got tatziki coming out my nasel passage.

Hats off to Mr Brennan. I know reporting on City is his job, but as a utd fan, it must have hurt to put that in print.

Not really, remember, he lost his job as the rag reporter because he was very critical of the Glazer takeover. The whole article reinforces everything he was saying back then about how the Glazer's would not be good for the club on the pitch. He must be happy to still be in the position to be able to pen such attacks on the club.

Correct,he is a red but tells it how it is,Stuart has always been like that in my dealings with him...a few other jounos should take note but don't hold your breath.

To be fair to him, I think he takes a genuinely professional approach to his role and there is no harm in him not having blue tinted spectacles. He is als o prepared to come on here and front up to criticism.

That is a particularly good article.

Ah,so nice that Oakie`s constant moaning at those Blue Mooners who regard it as a Rag paper, are beginning to take a positive feel from them nowadays.
Even better when you get Spencer and Co.actually giving us some credit and at the same time belittling the Rags forlorn mess.
Thank you SB.See mate, working at the Winsford Chronicle/Guardian (can`t remember which one it was) all those years ago did you no harm at all. ;)

As soon as I read the article I imagined Oakie, MEN in one hand and in the other.....

Stuart, that was worth a lifetime ban from old Trafford.

Don"t fear, you'll always be welcome at the Etihad.
