Great news for Oakie ref hip replacement

Well Oakie for one it’s fantastic that you’ve been bumped and if the Op goes as planned and you do your rehab it will be totally life changing for you, the current Mrs Disco had hers done a year ago to this day same as you bone on bone and if I’m being honest it was a huge drag on her body all round pain wise and mentally.

One year on from the Op it’s a completely different person in outlook and ability, only one thing to add if you feel your upto it go for the epidural blocker as recovery time will be much quicker.

Bon Chance Blue x

The drs and nurses have left in droves for their own reasons, we need more obviously but to tie the two things together shows a lack of understanding just how the nhs is run . There are plenty of shows following the staff in the hospitals if people are really interested

They have a hefty work load and are doing their best
From what I read, from people living in the UK who would have significantly more experience dealing with the NHS than I would (not difficult), the staff are working under horrific conditions. Crazy workloads, poor pay, management who don't seem to give a flying... about the ordinary workforce. They're better people than me (again, not difficult).

I’ve been attending the Renal Dept at Hope (Salford Royal for out of towners) Hospital at least once a week sometimes twice, for 11 weeks now and I cannot praise the Specialist Nurses enough. Not only do I see them and have the three tests but they then ring me in the afternoon with the results.
Yesterday my nurse said ‘we’re going to have to invite you to the Christmas party’! ;-)
This is on top of the care I’m receiving from the haematology Consultant at Wythenshawe. Plus my own GP.
So I agree that our NHS is the very, very best. :-)
