Pavel Nedved was brilliant at Lazio and Juve but doesn't seem to get the same recognition as other players of his era.

I think that’s most of them through the years. But thinking back I’ve seen some good football, most of those have been against Ireland. There’s probably a few more.
***I’ve not seen KDB in the flesh yet
Players I've actually seen and leaving aside David Silva, Colin Bell and Yaya Toure from us and George Best (who could have played anywhere, apart from in goal, and been the best in the world at his peak) from the Red Filth..Since everyone is in a state of panic (rightly so) and locked inside, share your thoughts on the best 5 midfielders you have watched play.
For me the list is
1. Xavi
2. Silva
3. Iniesta
4. Ballack
5. De Bruyne
Let’s hear from the blues.
Stay safe!!
I can understand why you nominated the Irish thug, but captain cripple and A&E?Bryan Robson ,roy keane and bogbrush ed
TIGANA!! What a joy!Maradona. Platini.
Zidane , Tigana.
Dejan savicevic. Robert prosinecki.
Fucking hell , goodisons older than I thought !Duncan Edwards. R.I.P.
Only saw him once so it's a daft sentimental choice really.
From those I watched and understood, Yaya, Silva, Zola, Bell.
And there was Albert, brilliant lad from Hungary at Goodison in the 1066 World Cup.
A lot of names in there man. Sheedy waa a decent player.
When did McGrath play in midfield? Was that sparingly? I just don't seem to remember!
Haha no not in that order. Top 3 probably in the right order. The longer the list got I realised I couldn’t put it in order. Plus it spans a few decades and the game has changed a few times over the years. Some of today’s players would be gash on an early 90s cut up pitch for example. In that order ?
Thanks man. He always amazed me, a Gammy knee and played a few games half cut, but still one of the besthe played midfield a lot for Ireland. Particularly in the early 90s when McCarthy and Moran were the centre half’s.
He was top class! When he and Zidane played together in midfield for Juve that was the best midfield in Europe even with Keane and Scholes playing together.Pavel Nedved was brilliant at Lazio and Juve but doesn't seem to get the same recognition as other players of his era.
