Greatest night games at the Etihad

Top three that I've been to -

Arsenal 4-1
Hamburg 2-1
Monaco 5-3

Spurs 4 1 when KDB paid tribute to Spainish Dave as Matteo was ill
It was freezing that night, can remember the freezing fog descending over the Colin Bell stand and Kev turning into an absolute beast after he was scythed down.

Has it almost been 20 years at the Etihad?!

In the City of Manchester Stadium years we were spoilt for choice.
2003/04: Sinclair with the winner over Barca in pre-season, and the 4-1 DERBY win stand out. The 5-0 win over TNS is the only evening game I recall us winning, so that'll be the evening game of the season.
2004/05: The pre-season win over Lazio felt big, but Anelka's winning goal against Chelsea was the biggest evening that the atmosphere rippled.
2005/06: The 5th round 2-1 win over Villa in the FA Cup stands out for a good night.
Although, the season lacked great afternoons, the oddity of the 11:15am kick-off stands out. City 2-0 Everton. Mills then Vassell at the last minute. Everyone loves an early kick-off.
2006/07: The early season win over Arsenal in an early evening kick-off. Nothing else stands out that season. Haaland would have outscored City's 2006/07 season in a month.
2007/08: The DERBY day early home game and Ireland being Superman against Reading in the last minute one evening stand out.
2008/09: We beat Milan in the legendary and final edition of the Thomas Cook trophy. I swear I was there. The 2-1 win (yet loss) over HSV was by far the best atmosphere of the initial years at the stadium.
2009/10: The 4-2 league win over Arsenal with slippery knees Adebayor was a great afternoon occasion, but the 2-1 home leg of the league cup DERBY was the atmopshere. That Blue Moon and lights out started a good night. The corner felt like we were peering around it and ready to challenge.
2010/11: The 3-0 win over Liverpool was a good early season evening game but the 1-0 win over Spurs (cheers Crouch) was the icing on a cake. The Poznan game (only 33,383 fans that night) was a buzz, but for me, the Aris game at the Etihad was the atmopshere of the season.
2011/12: The QPR afternoon game was the greatest game ever at the Etihad, closely followed by that evening DERBY DAY 1-0 win. The 2-3 defeat to ManUre in the FA Cup felt like a venomous and loud game too.
2012/13: A weird season with much expectation and odd games left, right and centre. Almost every home game seemed nervous from the players to the fans. Nothing stands out at the Etihad, and we all know it ended.

2013/14: The 4-1 DERBY win in the daytime was bettered by beating the Irons on the last day, but the pick of the evening games has to be hammering WHU in the league cup 6-0.
2014/15: The Sergio show in the Champions League win over Bayern.
2015/16: The League Cup win over Everton to reach the final, having lost the first leg.
2016/17: The early season qualifier against Steaua Bucharest or the win against Barca. Both were sentimental games.
2017/18: The evening 4-1 league win over Spurs. The 5-0 afternoon win over Liverpool was glorious too.

2018/19: Scoring 9 against Burton in an evening league cup game was a treat but the 1/4 final defeat to Spurs was a great night for an atmosphere.
2019/20:
2020/21:
2021/22:
2022/23: The evenings so far that have stood out: CITY 4 - Ar$enal 1 or CITY versus Bayern. The DERBY game first half was the best half of football ever, sadly ruined by the mass subs.
