The EU should just assume that Greece has defaulted, cancel any exisitng arrangements, agree a suitable offer to all holders of Greek debt, commence legal proceedings against the Greek Government to recover as much of that compensation as possible then tell the Greeks they're on their own from January 1st and that their currency arrangements, as well as any public borrowing are up to them.

They're a country that thinks you can have a generous public sector without paying the taxes to maintain that and that you can borrow money without being able to repay it. They deserve to be reduced to the level of Somalia.

I have always thought that the Germans got off very lightly for what they did in WW2 many people never wanted Germany to be a United country again rather split down to it constituent parts
