That’s true but I am quite grateful I didn’t recognise the “spectrum” traits I suffered with as a child as I grew up believing I was like everyone else. My life would have been changed I reckon and perhaps not for the better, who knows.If people didn’t speculate, lots would never get diagnosed though. Being diagnosed can be a positive thing if it gets you the help that you need.
Being on the spectrum can be a positive thing.
Those traits included being largely non-verbal.
