It was more comment on the strip club type situation.

With inappropriate comments there has to be a line, and in this case t was inappropriate comments of a sexual nature. I suspect had Wallace simply apologised at the time, and not done it again this wouldn't even be an issue.

Being harrassed in the street and at work , in the pub , on the tube , every where else , sexual attention and being touch upped , wolf whistled by a group of men egging each on , is not acceptable

You are assuming those in the sex industry are consenting to be objectified / touched etc. The industry is riddled with performers who “consent” under duress or because they simply have no other choice.

Sigh indeed.
 
Strip clubs in the UK have no touch policies.

This is a condition of their licence.

I doubt there are women being coerced into getting felt up as they can simply object and have the pillock doing it kicked out.

Agree with that. He's also of a "certain age" where he probably grew up around this sort of humour.

The world has changed, he just needs to embrace it, go quiet, he seems to be guilty of being a bit of a prick, I'm sure 70% of men on here of the "certain age" have made similar comments/humour in the past, but as we're not "celebs" we (and I'll include myself) don't get called out for it.

I work with the navy, and I cringe at some of the comments the males make in front of women, in fact I cringe at some of the comments the women make also.
 
Too many soft arses out there determined to wreck people’s life. Banter is banter and lots of women take part but you don’t see guys running off to destroy life’s.
