War Plan Purple originates from the global cultural movement the Liberalists; activists for classical liberalism with the aim to re-establish core liberal values in Western societies. It was founded under seven Liberalist Principles conceptualised by Carl Benjamin, a prominent YouTuber better known as Sargon of Akkad:
Witnessing the degradation of liberal values in our nation rapidly being replaced by progressive authoritarianism, and the sheer contempt for democracy in regards to Brexit demonstrated daily in the national papers, we decided something had to be done. Political organisation was imperative.
The Liberalists examined the existing parties and found both major parties wanting. The Conservatives are conservative in name only and are nothing but a mirror of Labour on social policies; both parties are authoritarians subscribing to the same progressive doctrine of collectivist identity politics and political correctness. Labour are a remain party and Theresa May’s Chequer’s Plan is remain by another name, if the EU even accepts it, which they likely won’t.
Individual Rights, Self-Reliance, Blind Justice, and Secularism are forsaken for group favouritism, bigotry of low expectations, an activist judiciary and political censorship enforced via means of draconian “Hate Speech” (heresy) laws and the fictitious label of “Islamophobia” (blasphemy). Self-determination for our country is being deliberately damaged by the political class because they are happy to hand responsibility to the EU. And why wouldn’t they be? It’s easier for them.
Upon reviewing UKIP’s manifesto, we decided it was the only political party worth supporting. No other party even attempts to stand for liberal values, nor offers policies to protect them; for example no party but UKIP mentions Freedom of Speech in their manifesto, the rest actively undermine it. In fact, the other parties are advocating for, or by omission support the current “Hate Speech” legislations and plan on expanding the criminalisation of so called “offensive speech”. Prominent British liberal YouTubers Carl Benjamin, Paul Joseph Watson, and Milo Yiannopoulos joined the UK Independence Party, following the lead of Markus Meechan, better known by his channel name “Count Dankula”, who was himself a victim of prosecution for making an “offensive joke” under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.
War Plan Purple was born. War Plan Purple represents UKIP’s new social media-savvy demographic of the nation that understands that political correctness is a partisan weapon, and must be removed from British law to ensure fairness towards other political persuasions and to protect human rights.
You do not have the right not to be offended and we do have the right to speak as we please. Nobody should be punished by the state because they said something offensive. If you’re offended by something, get over it.
So far we have organised large protests in support of Meechan’s conviction, raised hundreds of thousands of pounds in legal aid, spoken at major political rallies in the UK and US, and helped stop Article 11 (the “link tax”) and Article 13 (the “meme ban”) from being rushed through the EU parliament.
And this is just the beginning.
