I agree that many will, especially if Phase 2 is turned into a technical discussion / analysis. The cladding was the biggest factor on the night but seems to have been put on the back burner (no pun intended)
 
Don't know if any one is following this but today we learnt

  • Normally standard procedure to send out the Aerial ladder to high-rise blocks if a fire reported, this was stopped a couple of years ago due to cuts
  • Water pressure not adequate to create a 'curtain of water' (less than 10% of that required) Thames water called out but unable to do anything

Shameful - will the minister responsible for these cuts be asked to explain them? Of course not. Will the individual at the Fire and Rescue Service be asked to explain why the aerial ladders were cut and was that change of procedure publicised? Of course not. And will Thames Water be asked to explain why water pressure was so low? No need really their pipes leak like sieves but hey they are a private company and thus supply better VFM than if they were publicly owned we are told. Wank - all fucking wank and extremely sad for those who perished in the fire.

I just saw that on FB. I was going to say beyond belief, I can’t. The rise in extreme rightwing fascist cunts, particularly in England, is a worry. Don’t get me wrong, we have plenty but they have always been here.

I dunno, I think you are misinterpreting it. Is say it's more internet culture and kids growing up watching sick videos trying to be edgy as appose to facism.

That’s genuinely left me speechless. I don’t have the words to describe those people. No idea if it constitutes a crime, but if nothing else I hope they are publicly shamed on every news outlet going.

We will need to agree to disagree, they were all over 30, easily, and it’s extreme rightwing racism and fascism that has crawled out of its holes due to Trump, populism and Brexit.

I would bet my left nut they are Farage, Tommy Robinson and Trump fans, who voted leave. There is no fucking way they would make a model like that with black figures at the windows otherwise.

I read about it on the BBC but cannot face clicking on the link. Difficult to fathom how people can be so full of hate to other people.

Watching the news is a real trial as it seems more depressing each day.

I'm not shocked from watching the video, as horrid as it is. The world will always have bell ends like this. What shocks me is the lack of brain cells that made them think putting it on line was the thing to do.
