Ground Emptying

It always suprises me that hundred of people leaveabng on the time going up for extra time, I alway wonder if the same amount would leave if 10 minutes was shown as extra time.

I'm curious why you should ask why people want to get away from the stadium 5 minutes earlier than thousands of others on a Saturday night at half seven when our team have just pissed 85 minutes against a shite team and the Mancunian Way is closed.
Unless you are a WUM or a bellend.

I had my 4 year old step son with me at the game today, he was asking to go home all through the second half as he was tired, so we left on 82 mins

hope thats ok with you?

barring anything you havent disclosed that would make me look insensitive then thats pretty poor, kids pull all sorts of shit.

no matter where anyone has to travel to there are dozens of ways to get home without the mancunian way but no doubt the thousands who buggered off had ill relatives, work commitments, pregnant wives about to give birth etc...

none whatsoever just couldnt be arsed sat in traffic because they are strange

Not a criticism just curious as to whether any other ground emptys as quickly as ours. Tonight they announced the mancunian way was closed with 6 minutes to go and that was a cue for literally hundreds of people to depart.
I only watch other teams on tv but there's grounds generally don't look anywhere near as empty as ours with 3-4 minutes to go. So basically the question is do other teams grounds empty as quickly and if not is there any reason ours does more than others? I've been going for 20 years and have watched some absolute shite in the past yet most people stuck with it. Now were seeing the best football for 3 decades people are choosing to leave early.
As I say no criticism everyone has there reasons just wondered if anyone can put there finger on why, as it seems in my opinion our fans choose to make an early exit

Notice you are in Didsbury. Who do you live next door to.

You may have to explain what B? means.

It's not something I do or like but it was when The Mancunian Way was closed that it started emptying. Might explain it.

A couple of years ago me and my 2 lads used to leave on 86 minutes, run down the spirals and run to our car parked on north car park. Then drive like crazy up Alan Turing Way hoping to get through the lights before the police switch them to red for half an hour. If you didn't make the lights we'd have to wait half an hour on Alan Turing Way, then join the traffic jams, meaning we'd get home two hours after the game finished. But for the last 2 seasons we've stayed till the final whistle, walked to Summerbee's Bar in City Square, had a pint or two watching the match highlights, then stroll to the north car park. Bingo...no traffic and we're home in no time. I'll put my money on the hundreds that leave early are all parked in the north car park. Thats my theory anyway.
