I've been calling for gudetti for a while but I'm starting to get tired of it now he's never going to get a chance at the first team..and honestly if I was a young prospect I would never want to go to city as I'll never get a chance to break in the first team ..all this new training ground shit is for nothing at this rate if we keep buying players for 30 million ..if this continues we won't get any top kids wanting to develop in our system..and if Suarez becomes a beast than that would justify my opinion

Explain?
Meaning if Denis Suarez ends up playing for the first team in Barcelona and becomes a future piece to that puzzle that is still considered a champions league contender year after year then In my opinion it shows that maybe England isn't an ideal place to produce or nurture young talent

I've thought for a while we should buy a Liga Adelante side and set up our equivalent of Barca B, but keep the club's identity as it is.

After all this talk, when he does get a run for the first team I feel unless he scores a hat trick or some kind of spectacular goal, there'll be a few on here calling for his head...
Is there an echo in here?

How you reckon the fans of that club will feel? Being used as a feeder club with no future aims?

As opposed to at best being in a La Liga where their only aspiration would be to finish 3rd?

They could recruit some young Spanish starlets, get promoted to La Liga, have a talented young manager we could blood there and we could send some EDS guys over on favourable loans. Win, win, win.

We could build them a nice new training facility and youth academy and in return they can send us the best Spain has to offer after competitive football.

You mean, like we were about 10 -12 years ago???

Manuel Pellegrini is delighted to see John Guidetti back on the training pitch.

The 21-year-old Sweden striker missed the start of the season while recovering from knee surgery.

It followed his battle with a debilitating virus he suffered while on loan at Feyenoord.

Guidetti hasn’t played for City’s first team since 2010 and Pellegrini revealed his return is ‘good news’.

The City boss said: “John starts this week working normally with the whole squad. So that is very good news for him and for the team and we see in the future what will happen with him.

“We must see how he improves every week.

“There is a lot of time with injuries so we will see.”

Great news, love to see Guidetti get his chance to show what he can do (hopefully for us)
