Why didn't Celtic Apply for an extension to the transfer window to get it complete like Utd and Arsenal did? or does that transfer Fergie time only apply if you have dirty palms?

Does this not matter when its a knockout game? Are the cups not as important? He is either good enough to warrant a place in the squad, or he isn't. Personally I don't think he is, and I think 90% of the forum share the same opinion. And the fact he hasn't played since his debut, despite being around the squad for a while, suggests the management agree.
it was a rushed post and I didn't think I would have to spell out every permutation, It means early on cup matches when fringe players usually get a match allowing 1st teamers to have a rest.
The fact that Pellegrini wants to sell him despite being an admirer a few seasons back suggests he wont get any game time and isn't up to the task of getting over his illness. so even back up 4th striker looks to be too much. but it doesn't change the fact that some of the insults and critizism thrown his way is out of order.
Perhaps the hierarchy have a feeling of deja vu as they did with Michael Johnson,so how long do you give someone a chance to prove himself.
Hell if he could hardly get any playing time for Stoke, then its hardly surprising that teams from either the PL or Championship teams are banging on the door to take him off our hands.
Just maybe, the Club sees something differently behind closed doors.Perhaps he`s built up his own hype too much.
Insults and criticism are part of any forums & threads make-up,but I`ve yet to see anything on this thread where people are actually calling him names.
Thicken your skin out as no player is exempt from criticism.

Manchester City striker John Guidetti has slammed the "chaos" that scuppered his move to Celtic on transfer deadline day.
The Sweden international had been supposed to join Celtic on loan from Manchester City, where he is surplus to requirements. But the paperwork to complete the transfer was not submitted in time, meaning at present it appears as if the deal will not go through.
While the Scottish Premiership authorities have rubber-stamped the late move, international clearance is still lacking as Celtic and Manchester City did not submit the paperwork in time. The ball is now with FIFA, though the Bhoys are confident as the process was started before the deadline it will eventually be ratified.
For Guidetti, left twiddling his thumbs, the situation was one of utter chaos.
"It was total chaos", he told Sport Bladet.
"I went through the whole day without a bite to eat. I was waiting, waiting, waiting.
"It was the middle of the night, there were hundreds of fans at the Celtic stadium. Finally they stopped coming."
Now the striker admits his fate is in FIFA's hands, though he does not feel a return to Manchester City would be the end of the world.
"I hope it is still completed, but otherwise there is nothing to do but return to City.
"Fortunately that's not the worst thing that can happen. It's up to FIFA to decide."
