Guinness shortage

Ohhh, I don't know.
He said a few items of Ratner's were "crap", so people spent a few quid more at a slightly more up-market store...... probably H Samuel's.

Guess who owned H Samuel.

As I said......
The whole group took a massive hit. Surely this good publicity for Wallace will help him go strength to strength like Schofield and Barrymore.

I love Guinness

You'd have loved that pint of it mackenzie, so smooth and creamy ..... I could have drank eight pints of it, never mind four!

They say the best pint of it in Manchester is at Mulligans bar , just off Deansgate, trouble is he's got a load of rag rubbish stuck on his walls, not nice to look at whilst you're enjoying your pint ...... the 'Salmon of Knowledge' on Lever Street don't serve a bad pint of it either, and they've got a few football screens, one being quite sizeable.

You filthy animal!
Yeah, it goes quite well with blackcurrant, although just a small squirt of it, as a big squirt overpowers the taste of your Guinness!

I was in Llandudno the other week and had a few pints of 'Guiness and black' in the Cottage Loaf pub there.

As long as you don't start drinking 'fruit' ciders I suppose I shall allow it :)

A huge chunk of the price is the Govts alcohol tax.
So how come 0° Guinness is the same price ?

They must be coining it in.
Apparently, and I don't know how true this is. But I've heard a few times now, that it's HARDER and more laborious getting alcohol OUT of a beer, spirit etc...than it is when it's brewed normally.

Hence why it's the same (ish) price to normal alcohol content products.

There are hundreds of better stouts out there but sadly none of them are in every pub
Yep, this. Guinness is always the last resort for me. The porter market is huge at the moment and there are so many different flavours out there.

A good Guinness is lovely but a bad one is grim.

I have the Untappd app. I’ve tried 400 stouts and porters apparently in 10 years. Guinness is far from the worst, as you say when it’s good is really good. A lot of staff don’t know how to pour it
