Takamine for me . In a live setting they are mint. Only the Japanese ones though . Martins are good too. Funny but in the far east they love guilds

I've owned some high end guitars (Martin 00-15, Taylor 315ce, Gibson J200) my favourite guitars have been a Taylor 210, Guild GAD 50 and this one I have now. There are some awesome acoustic guitars in the 500 - 1000 range. Wish I still had those 2 though.
