Epiphone es335 Dot

nice, got one myself but in the cherry red colour! You should look into putting a bigsby on it, makes it look and sound better and its easy to do at home, just order one off ebay.<br /><br />-- Fri Sep 21, 2012 12:25 pm --<br /><br />

Got a guitar for Christmas, have messed around with it a bit but don't know where to start in terms of teaching myself properly.

Any ideas? :)

I went on youtube and learnt the basic chords from some guy called 'justinguitar' or something then i thought well what will make me want to play so i decided to invest in an oasis chord book. Best thing I ever bought, really motivates you to learn music you like and oasis were perfect for it because you can play stuff exactly like the actual songs just using a guitar and simple amp you dont need any fx pedals or anything!

I'd love a Gibson SG. Got an Epiphone Les Paul but just don't haver the time to play anymore. Lacking a little enthusiasm too but would love to get back into it.

I'll try and post my 3 later - all cheap and sound great!

Would love a Martin but don't play often enough or well enough to justify the spend (even a £600 version I saw in Glasgow last year). Also want a Rickenbacker 12 string but same reasons above apply. Alligator in Heaton Chapel have a sky blue 12 string Rick but it's over £1200.

I just got a Taylor GS Mini. Fantastic guitar. Dawsons do a 12 month interest free on anything above £250.

Here's my pride and joy, Fender Jazz/Precision deluxe. Precision body with Jazz neck and bridge pickup. Very bright not much in the way of warm bass tones, just the way I like it.

60s Stella Harmony with steel reinforced neck.. It's a little 3/4 sized parlour/blues guitar and a nice one to have knocking around at home!

I've got a prs ce24 n thinking of getting rid of it and treating myself to a nice acoustic. dunno how much I could sell it for now though as its got a few chips n scratches on it.
