TMQ I've had a few of those Danelectro pedals over the years, cheap but quirky little things they are.

There was one with a tube that distorts your voice when you talk down it. Trippy as Fuck.

I've seen that one, I think I lost out on that one along with the Sitar pedal they do on Ebay.

Not taking the piss out of anyone but I've just put ITV4 +1 on and it's Spinal Tap. It's right at the point with:

"Can you hear that? The sustain..."

Seemed appropriate :D

All guitarists have a bit of Nigel Tuffnel in them :)

It's a guitarists job to moan about the sound of his guitar and hear things no one else can.

Think I am coming into this thread a tad late (nothing new there then!)
I bought a Peavey EVH Wolfgang when they first came out - yeah being a Van Halen nut did the trick and I thought that it would be a good investment.
Guitar has a nice tone but the frreaky thing is that the neck is maplewood and I so love the smell. Even now, when I take it out of the case, the aroma of the wood is just so beautiful. Almost as good as the smell of a woman......

I get a lot of my pedals off Ebay, if you're willing to be patient you can usually save a decent amount of money.

A lot of people, myself included at times, buy pedals and then don't like them so sell them on at a loss just to fund the purchase of a new pedal.

Yeah was looking around there at different band rigs for re-occurring pedals then checking Ebay, most seem to be outright purchases rather than bidding I have to keep a closer eye on it.

Yep. I bought the space echo as an all in one reverb and delay. The reverb sounds pretty awful, but the delay is clean as a whistle. So I'm getting the extra reverb pedal

I should probably give the space echo a better crack of the whip but everytime I stick the reverb on it sounds like a flange. I thought it would have had a standard verb sound too.
