has this guy been frozen out because he's leaving or does he have a legitimate injury? Thought when this was announced as a "done deal" over a month ago he was only out because of a bone bruise or something.
Injured.
He's barely got one... One major and then some small ones...cheers. Definitely can't be the only midfielder we buy this summer with his injury history.
This one is done.

Price seems to be edging up a couple of million every passing week.

I know but Dortmund know that there is plenty of interest in him and Pep wants him badly so will use that. They'll also use the fact that they'll run down his contract like Lewa and, possibly, lead to us missing out.
I'm not that bothered what the cost will be. If whoever is in charge of the transfer budget okays the deal and he improves the team then so be it. Yeah but I guess teams know we'll pay over the odds for players so they'll stake up the price.

Pretty sure it is, with the player and his agent. Just a case of the clubs agreeing a fee now. Similar situation to Sterling and De Bruyne last season.
