Gutted

Top post, I'm even more optimistic than I was before. One slip up and were in. If I was a player or worked within the club I would realise this and bang on all day about it. Its there's my arse, believe Blues Believe. The party is still on !!!!!

There's so many if's and but's that come with an opinion that its just so hard to put across!

But one thing is that it is far from over! Yes IF ONLY we had beaten the likes of swansea, sunderland and not let Fulham come back in september we could have a massive advantage and its gutting to think of this!

However, if we can beat the rags then all it requires is for them to slip up, either after or before we play them to get back in the driving seat, provided that we don't slip up! But that seems fairly likely with our current form as it pains me to say!

But we must keep to faith blues! Us giving up now and being defeatist makes it all the 10 times sweeter for the ushited, don't give in now lads!

I like your optimism but you need to be realistic, the bastards will win the league as much as it pisses me off.

There is 7 games to go, and I ain't giving up on this season with so many games left.

United fans aren't the only set of fans who can be confident in their teams abilities. We know we can play the football to win every game till the end of the season. Why can't we start playing it again?

United struggled against Balckburn. Blackburn. They have tougher test to come, so why can't they slip up.

The Rags have struggled against a lot of teams. However they have something that we don`t !!
The ability to beat teams at the bottom of the league.
How many points have we dropped and any team who can win 12 games away from home (as a minimum) deserve it.
It fooking hurts to say it,but I`m a realist.
We threw away the game at home to Sunderland. But the experience maybe painful, but I am sure we will be stronger as a result. If Utd lose it from here, they will be gutted. They think they have done it, but they haven't yet. 7 wins, and we will be Champions. Not guaranteeing it, but if we win them, I think we will be.

That was the situation this morning and it's still the situation now. As Kompany said after the Sunderland game, he's not that interested in what they do. Lets do what we can do, and see if they are good enough to answer it. If they are then fair play to them, but at least lets push them all the way. Part of doing so, is keeping the faith

if somehow we can keep it a contest until the etihad and can come out of that still in the hunt - well, i wouldnt fancy having to go to sunderland away to win it

but christ thats a big if!
It is.

Sunday evening it will be a lot clearer. I was hoping Utd would draw at Blackburn, and we'd be able to go to Emirates knowing that a point would be OK. Realistically we have to win every game now, and that's a tall order but not impossible.
Am I missing something here? How would that have meant a draw at Arsenal would have been good enough? Assuming the rags beat QPR, that would have put them 5 points clear.

We have to win every single game. That was the case whatever tonight's result was.

We have beat teams lower down the league, for most of the season everyone was lower in the league than us, and most still are.

It takes one game to ignite the season again, and why can't it be against arsenal on Sunday?

Kompany coming back, Lescott soon to shore up the defence, Aguero coming soon, even a player who is reviled at the moment on here (Balotelli, who I like), can pull a goal out of nowhere. Barry has been rested and should play against arsenal. And what a game for Nasri to show us how good he is (Getting better as the season progresses).

I didn't say it was going to be easy, but it's still definitely possible, and while it's still on, I'm keeping the faith.

Put pressure on the rats by beating the Arse on Sunday. They will think the open top bus leaves Milton Keynes 6pm Sunday. When we win all of a sudden the reallity hits home.............one slip up and we are in. Come on City !!!!!!!!!!!!

I like your optimism; you can stay! Seriously though, we have to win our last four away games on the bounce. After only winning two out of the last 9. Just how are we going to do that? And that's not even mentioning the home games.

Now that it seems harder than ever it could relieve a bit of pressure for the next games, hopefully we get a win at Arsenal and get some wind back in the sails and turn our form around. It's been ridiculously tense recently and morale was rock botto
against Sunderland

We should just sing loud and proud and do our bit, least we can do and hopefully the players respond. Our chances are extremely unlikely but you just never know

Never fucking give in

If we beat Arsenal which I think we will, then it will be game on as both teams will be playing "easier" opposition and we still have to play them at home. Stay positive blues. ;)
