Gutted

last 5 months only 8 points form 8 away games.

We are heading for about 84 points with very tough away games on the way.

Away performances took a dive after the 6-1, even the QPR game was one we could have gone a few gaols behind in. The big problem has been missing too many chances away.

Gutted that everyone has given up.

7 games left and the whole nation thinks the league is gone. Fuck that, the league ain't over till its mathematically over, and it's far from that. If them red bastard would be in our position now, they'd think they could do, so why can't we?

Fuck all this shit about 'Fergie's been there'. As we all know, it only takes one game to turn this league back on its head and we're back in. As long as we play, get back on and play how we know we can, we're still in with a shout.

United beat a shit Blackburn away, they've tougher tests ahead. I for one know we won't be going down without a fight, so pick your heads off your fucking chests and lets look towards twatting them gunners and putting the pressure back on.

Great post

The Rags have struggled against a lot of teams. However they have something that we don`t !!
The ability to beat teams at the bottom of the league.
How many points have we dropped and any team who can win 12 games away from home (as a minimum) deserve it.
It fooking hurts to say it,but I`m a realist.

We have beat teams lower down the league, for most of the season everyone was lower in the league than us, and most still are.

It takes one game to ignite the season again, and why can't it be against arsenal on Sunday?

Kompany coming back, Lescott soon to shore up the defence, Aguero coming soon, even a player who is reviled at the moment on here (Balotelli, who I like), can pull a goal out of nowhere. Barry has been rested and should play against arsenal. And what a game for Nasri to show us how good he is (Getting better as the season progresses).

I didn't say it was going to be easy, but it's still definitely possible, and while it's still on, I'm keeping the faith.

Yes but when you look at who we didn`t beat when points seemed more possible than not.
Away form and games at Fulham,WBA,Everton,Sunderland etc have cost us dearly, but I hope that if RM is still here next season,it helps him to gain experience and nous on how to win the PL.
Hears hoping.

Im in. Until its mathematically impossible for us to win it why should we hand the incentive to those bastards by rolling over like so many other teams do lining up at the swamp? Every red fucker you see look him straight in the eye and dare them to take the chance away from us.

I've watched Utd the last 2 Mondays and seen them benefit from a late penalty not given last week and winning with 2 late goals tonight.

If we were giving 5 points up to Barca, Madrid or Utd teams of past years, I'd say it was definitely over. However this Utd team is nowhere near as good as any of these and I expect them to drop points at some stage.

Question is whether we're good enough to win all/most of our games? Our current form would say it's unlikely, but there's still hope.

I want to push them all the way and if they win it, make them earn it, rather than meekly surrender it to them.

As it stands, a draw for them and a victory for us in the Derby puts us level. Whatever happens, we need to take it as far as we can, otherwise we'll be under the same pressure next Mar/Apr when we're challenging for the title again. I want us to encounter the heat of a title run in. Invaluable experience for future seasons.

I agree completely.

The problem is likely to be with us, rather than them. They only need to draw one game (outside the derby) to open the door for us again, and I'm absolutely certain that will happen. But wed have to win every single game between now and the end of the season if we are to capitalise. That's the bit I can't see happening, unfortunately.

If we completely blow this in the next two games, we're not even going to get the benefit of experiencing a full blood-and-thunder title run in, and that would be a real shame after the way we performed for the first three quarters of the season.
