I certainly thought he was offside at the time. He was ahead of the defender marking him and there was not any other defender deeper.
I remember the game v Palace last season 0-2. Foden was offside for a goal disallowed it was tight, but I knew straight away live he was off.
I haven't many skills in life, but I manage to call most offsides right.

It was offside. If it really was bent (rather than poor) reffing in the game then we wouldn't have gotten the last minute pen. Save your energy for things that are genuinely wrong.

Fair enough, I thought he may have been offside watching on the computer, and was amazed when the flag didn't go up.

You still can't convince me, though, that they are certain which frame to use for the ball on foot when the camera is behind the player like that. One or two frames earlier, and the lines are probably touching. Anyway it doesn't matter, we won :)
