Hansen, Lawrensen and Shearer bring shame on the BBC

Thats a great article, sent it to all my mates on facebook and hotmail... Would be great to see Alan Hansen booted out...
It is indeed a well written article. It is, however, marred by its unfortunate title and even more unfortunate illustration that accompany it.

A sense of perspective is lamentably absent in that regard.

Kramer:- I have had the identical second reply. Only upside seems to be this line:

'...We reported them to the BBC staff responsible but are not able to engage in more correspondence or address new complaints and questions at this stage...'

At least somebody seems to have had a word. if that modifies some of the comments in future at least it's had some effect.

my complaint stressing the racist element of all the crticism has elicited the usual standard reply generated by some drone at the bbc pressing a button. as it doesn't address my specific complaint they'll be getting another one.

Good lord, you lot still going on about this?

Forget it. The pundits are just echoing the views of the man in the street - Rightly or wrongly, Mario's become a cartoon character.

If Mario Balotelli wants to change public perception of him all he has to do is score loads of goals and stop getting sent off. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

A bunch of bloody emails from biased football fans won't change a thing. You might as well take a piss in a wind tunnel.

No they're not. They are influencing the views

come on kids, at least try and save the fucking whale or something, is this the best our current generation can do, change the world? No, lets just get a different Liverpool defender to sit on a fucking settee on saturday nights

nice one, something to tell your grandchildren about no doubt

its a city forum, not sure what you expect

Well, if you think President Assad of Syria will step down with immediate effect, if a few Bluemooners send a strongly worded email, then I think you need to sit down in a darkened room, with a bottle of whisky, and work out why nobody seems to take you seriously.

Well, if you think Mark Lawrenson will step down with immediate effect, if a few Bluemooners send a strongly worded email, then I think you need to sit down in a darkened room, with a bottle of whisky, and work out why nobody seems to take you seriously.

Like fish in a barrel on this thread.

Only some fights are worth fighting. Some are not. Shame very few of you seem to know the difference.

mario had an excellent tournament, didn't get sent off, scored three cracking goals, wasn't far off winning the golden boot and was widely praised all over europe as being one of the stars of euro 2012 and still these vicious bastards piled on snide insult after snide insult. on the other hand rooney, who missed half the tournament through being sent off, was pissing it up in las vegas during the build up, was clearly unfit and dog shit on the pitch, got an easy ride off these cunts. but of course rooney is englsh and white while mario is italian and black.

silly me. i forgot he got a yelow card for taking his shirt off after scoring his second goal against germany. burn him!
