Hansen, Lawrensen and Shearer bring shame on the BBC

I'm shocked by the BBC's response to all your e-mails and so sent one in recently!

This is what I wrote!

I am writing in because I feel a issue I have read about isn't being taken seriously by the BBC, there seems to be alot of people who are disapointed in the way the TV Pundits spoke so openly about their bias towards Mario Balotelii.
I have read that alot have sent e-mails in adressing their concern and yet ALL have recieved the SAME e-mail back, I read the e-mail and actually feel that is even more bias towards Mario, as all it does is dribble on about his media image rather then addressing the pundits actions and lack of respect towards a human being. It also states that, and I qoute, "Our team's comments, while sometimes reflecting those concerns, have across the programme been balanced and fair." are you actually saying that these sort of comments are acceptable.....
"Stupid Mario"
"Nutter"
"If brains where petrol he wouldn't get out the garage"
"He's Achieved nothing in his career"
"offers nothing because he's unreliable"
"He'll need to score ten hat-tricks next season to get my respect"
Is the BBC seriously telling me that is classed as Balanced and Fair????

I understand that Mario's behaviour isn't the greatest but noone deserves this kind of personal attack on TV, especially when so many young people would have heard that.
Is this the kind of message the BBC wish to send to our children thats its ok to attack someone verbally because he sometimes acts stupidly?
In closing I would like to know what the BBC plan on doing about such a serious issue??

Be interesting to see what e-mail I get back from them, if any!

Good email mate but you'll get the same crap back.

They send you one slightly different the sly bastards ha

My name ain't Quasimodo but I still got a hunch that I'll get a "different" e-mail.... but by which I mean they change a few words here and there, lol.

Screw the BBC, Their the reason we pay for a damn TV License, Why don't they just show adverts, money hungry buggers, not like they show anything decent, lol.

I've received two standard letters (both very similar to each other) for two complaints.

Have I wasted my time? No way.

Do I regret complaining? No. NEVER.

Something clearly changed in the BBC presentation overall between the Quarter Final and the Semi Final matches. Lineker started putting Mario's case, Vialli gave a balanced assessment in the Semis. Shearer was back pedalling (even thouigh he didn't apologise)

In the Final, Lineker again listed Mario's achievements, Hansen's behaviour didn't change but Vialli again mentioned Balotelli is only 21. Again Vialli was baalnced.

Whether these changes were as a result of complaints or someone in the BBC team (Editor, Lee Dixon, Lineker), saying there needed to be more balance, there was change.

I'd rather complain and make my feelings known than not. At least then I can't say I've done nothing.

The BBC are obligated to take complaints seriously. They've had a lot this time esepcially from City fans. They cannot ignore these, even if their replies suggest no admission of bias.

We can only have a hope of changing things if we make our voices heard.

All you've done is made it clear to the BBC that the complaints have all come from the same group of people, meaning they will take it less seriously than they otherwise might.

Did you guys really write to the BBC because a couple of pundits think Mario is a nob? LOL. that's quality. Not something like, "The situation in Syria is so horrific, i can't see this any more without acting what can i do?" But y'all felt compelled to intervine on behalf of the multi millionaire kid who plays football when a few blokes on TV call him some bad words?

Holy Shit Balls guys... We really are fucked as a species aren't we?
