They are absolutely awful - should just do away with commentators. Uneccessary
Certainly Alan Green has previous in that respect.redmizzle said:Monkfish said:Jodie Shoreline said:Making out that this is a race issue does nobody any favours least of all Mario.
On the flip side, some people are also too eager to dismiss the very idea that at least some of this hatred directed at Balotelli has to do with race even though he's had to deal with a lot of it already. It's not so outlandish to suggest that there could be elements of racism mixed with all that hate.
If we're going to exchange"I've met Tony Gale" stories, I sat next to him at the Britannia a couple of seasons ago and he looked at me in a funny way. Never trust anyone who looks at you in a funny way.St Helens Blue (Exiled) said:gordondaviesmoustache said:Tony Gale is pond life.Exeter Blue I am here said:SSN no better either this morning. 'Expert' Tony Gale was on hand to sneer "Don't tell me Balotelli's a better player than Wayne Rooney", Joe Hart's place in the official team of the tournament was despite him having been "a bit flappy", and best laugh of all "Michael Carrick could play the Pirlo role for England". Cnuts, one and all......
Actually he is a really nice guy, having met him many moons ago and talked all things City. However when it comes to his views he is just towing the "rag"party line at Sky.
Rooney is a pub player,Carrick-Fuck me the mind boggles....He really is just shite

Not about exchanging stories...People generalise on here without actually knowing anyone. I don't know Tony Gale but I have had the pleasure to be in his company once and came across as a genuine lover of football and a huge West Ham fan. The discussion was about City, their fans and how West Ham are of a similar ilk. When he is on sky,he is just towing the party line as we all know he has to.

The driving force behind the written media is the fright they have that CITY should become a dominant force (especially at the expense of yoonited) they go for Mario because he's an easy and at times self made target. They don't understand his behaviour yet clammer for every story they can get their hands on and put a negative slant on it...I am concerned that they have gone over the top with this more recently (referring to Marios actions as being "madcap" is one thing...reffering to him being "mad" is totally different)..if I was Mario i would sue.
The club needs to be a bit more media savy for their own good and to protect younger players, plenty of times Fergus has refused to speak to the press whose headlines he dislikes. He now has all the media trained, ask the wrong question and you get barred!!
Mancini has a good relationship with the press but on the title run-in even he had to resort to turning the press quotes on their head saying the title's lost and maintaining that stance in every interview...very clever of Mancini because the press couldn't complain...we shouldn't have to resort to this.

Why do we all know he has to do???..Never let a lie get in the way of a good story and all that!!!!..Who gives a toss about West Ham or whether he's a genuine fan..he's feathering his own nest at the expense of CITY.

So, he actually goes against his own honest opinions to set out an agenda for Sky?St Helens Blue (Exiled) said:gordondaviesmoustache said:If we're going to exchange"I've met Tony Gale" stories, I sat next to him at the Britannia a couple of seasons ago and he looked at me in a funny way.
