Happy Clappers

When we lose, rather than have a whinge, slag off the players & manager and generally behave like a petulant child, I just shrug my shoulders and get on with my life.
Whether that makes me a "happy clapper" or whatever, I don't know, but it certainly helps your outlook on life if you have a variety of interests and not too get too obsessive about a ball game.
Yep, definition of a happy clapper. At least you are self aware though

Valid of course. But on here we will moan about our current woes and look for reasons behind it. Isn't many that will happily brush it all off. Every fan is different, every opinion valid
Doubt anyone is brushing off the current situation. I for one am gutted about the drop in performances but I can see why it’s happened & there are several games we could & should have won but inexperience & dip in confidence cost us

Well you do surprise me. I was just alluding to the other thread, but we've been through the mill with this club. Even now is better than what we had before the good times came. For me anyway.
I have lived through the breakup of the 69 team ( came far too late), the Swales years, Bernstein, Thaksin and all.

Swales ruined my life and the last decade a pleasure and dream but I am not sure what the hell that has to do with today.

Today we are club world champions with a turnover of 700M GBP and some of the world's oldest but best players;)

We are not little old cite ran by a tv rental gangster.

We have brought on a lot of the issues we have seen this season and what's the issue with saying that and questioning why?

It's got the potential to get worse before it gets better.

We are watching what was, until very recently, the best squad in world football deteriorate due to the lack of a credible succession plan.

That hurts a lot more than watching an average bunch of players under an average coach has in the past.

Too many people are sleeping on the job.

Whatever system you want us to play, we don’t have enough defenders to make it work at the moment.

It’s not as if Pep isn’t trying different things.
