boxing day and new yeaes day everyrging is ipen yet no buses or trains run
Easter Sunday everywhere is closed yet all buses and trains run

it is the sunday of the full moon on or after the equinox

a day where worshipers of Eostre celebrate spring and rebirth after the winter and for christians it is when JC became reincarnated as himself, or a zombie but not the brain eating kind.

eggs are a christian tradition, bunnys are not

Easter is about birth, rebirth and fertility. That is what the eggs are about. All the animals we’ll eat are being born, all the grains we’ll eat later in the year are starting to grow, all the fruits that we’ll eat through the Summer are starting to grow. It’s the celebration of the end of Winter and the coming of Summer.

Easter is much older than Christianity and unless you want to believe in the goddess Ēostre, it has nothing to do with religion or gods.
