One is avail and the other isn't£160m on a 28yr old v £160m on a 20yr old. Both of equal potential

Same for me especially with/if pep coming to the end of his contract and desparate to win the CL. It fits that narrative.I’m not sure on Kane. I thought he looked poor in the euros & most Spurs fans think he’s past his best. I just don’t rate him as £100 mil player never mind £160 mil
Yes I would like him & he would probably score a bag full but I think he’s only got 2 years in him then we are left with a player injured or on the bench being paid a fortune. I just think use a couple of kids & go all in for Haaland next season.
Biggest issue for me is I think pep will be gone in 2 years & he wants champs league so Kane fits his plan better but where does that leave city after pep.
I agree we all want champs league but for me not at the cost of our future. Look at Barca.Pep wants the Champs league ……..So do all the players and Kane ( and me ! ).
so go for it now - potential is not going to help us in next 2 seasons. We need players who can make the difference from September onwards
Personally I’d be happy if we didn’t spend any major money this summer - I don’t think that the transfer market can withstand another year of COVID disruption and our comparative advantage - our finances - will only increase. I have a particular dislike for Spurs so I have no real desire to see us bail them out on the financial side.
Without sounding like a prophet of doom, I would also think that the current wave of COVID may have altered our transfer plans somewhat, given the risk of reduced crowds etc. The outlook now is different from the spring when the vaccine rollout started, and the affordability of some of our transfer targets has probably reduced as a result.
Have a look at their forum. They seem happy to let him go & they watch him every week. Would we be happy to let foden go ? No chancealways makes me laugh when people invent stuff to justify their own beliefs. "most spurs fans think he's past his best" is just an incredibly easy thing to disprove, yet still people write this
Not at this time, totally agree, but if he keeps improving he has the ability to be way ahead of anything Kane could be.haaland is not better than kane
Genuine question - do you believe Alan Shearer was a superstar? Not a chance in a million years we pay anyway near 160m, that's super star money and Kane may be a great goal scorer but he isn't no super star.
