And the reason the so-called gentleman’s agreement wasn’t written into the contract is because the contract would then have likely been less favourable to Kane in monetary terms. I still hope we get him, but I don’t like what he’s doing either. Why sign that long-term contract? He could have guessed Spurs would still be potless a couple of years into it.

I’m sure there’s a letter being prepared for the PL as we speak, although I think PL might be happy we’re dropping 225m into the coffers of the PL game
