Lol, exactly! ;-)Glam rock,
This idea that football clubs have principles and that there is some sort of moral hierachy (normally with the two red clubs placing themselves at the top) makes me queezy tbh.It all feels uneasy to me. Never in our history would we bend over and keep pursuing a player at this age for this ridiculous amount of money. I am beginning to view us in a different light. Kane feels like a signing that would signify to everyone else "look at the power we have- we can have anyone regardless of cost." In the past we'd have gone after younger talent and although I realize those come with risks it makes me a little queesy to see how our standards have changed in pursuit of the elusive CL trophy. Funny how so many here years ago were so high and mighty about our transfer policy "City don't do that we won't be pushed around... We're not like those other clubs we have principles." Now those same people could care less and their responses to anything that could be construed as contrarian are disrespectful and hollow.
Maybe I'm just worried realizing we're not going to be able to stave off those other clubs around us who have strengthened and how our attack regardless of the potency we present in service and creativity is nothing without a spear head.
Has he signed in the 45 min it took me to blather on?
I prefer the 'tin in the cupboard' scenario more :(The 'Messi Money' only comes from actually signing Messi as it is in the form of increased/additional sponsorship etc. We didn't sign him so it didn't materialise. It wasn't a special pot of cash that Khaldoon had in a tin in the cupboard.
Mega mega white thingI just think it would be mega if we get Harry .....
I rather expected a similar response. I'm just surprised it was limited to glam rock. :-) However...Lol, exactly! ;-)
Oh no, everything else you mentioned I can get behind to some degree buddy ;-)I rather expected a similar response. I'm just surprised it was limited to glam rock. :-) However...

Perhaps a rousing rendition of Blockbuster by Sweet when HK finally arrives could persuade you.Oh no, everything else you mentioned I can get behind to some degree buddy ;-)
What would you like to hear and is it probable? The Kane thread slipping down the pecking order, gone really quiet on this one
Doubt we are going after Lewandowski, but this was too well done :D
Yeah, it's supposed to be Neymar. Hahahamade me double take? Is that Kane on Neymar's body?
Stuff of nightmares hahah
Doubt we are going after Lewandowski, but this was too well done :D
Yep. Was talked about earlier in the summer, the details given and the source made it more than believable to me then, and it explains why Chelsea - and City - didn't pursue things.
As regard whether it's a real agreement, Mino and Perez would be unlikely to fuck about with each other, could cost either big time in the future.
However, I get the feeling the agreement is going to be ripped up by mutual agreement, with Real taking Mbappe and Haaland opting for Bayern. Hence Lewa's announcement today. He's got wind, for sure.
There's always a risk these agreements are broken, but it usually ends a relationship for good (unless, like Real and Mino, both are OK with ripping up the agreement). And the party breaking it will not be trusted in the future.
Take a Spurs player now, say, Son. He gets offers elsewhere, Barca is his dream and they offer him a contract. Levy says, ok, sign again now, you can go next year, you have my word.
If Levy forced Kane to stay this year, would Son's agent trust him? No. Not a chance. No agent would. It would hurt Levy's ability to convince players to join and extend contracts for a long time.
its not that hard tbf, but thats very well done hahaHilarious - good effort by whoever spent time creating this.
Should be sent to Harry as a laugh if we eventually did end up signing him - those earrings!
Why? Bale, modric, isco, benzema all coming out of contract. And where does that leave Mbappe both won’t go there
That he's signing mate, preferably before the window slams shutWhat would you like to hear and is it probable?
So would we all, but is that probable today? That he's signing mate, preferably before the window slams shut
Let’s have it right. The ‘footballing world’ as you describe it is shit scared of the prospect of a City team with Kane in it. Hence we have managers of other clubs ignorantly bleating about FFP and the likes of SSN pissing and moaning about the very idea every day for the last monthExcept Son signed a new contract a matter of weeks ago during the whole Kane transfer saga. I think you are hugely over exagerating the effect Spurs keeping Kane would have on other players or our reputation. Keeping a player to his contract when the buying club will not meet the selling clubs asking price has happened before, and will continue to happen again and again. It is nothing unusual or strange or rare. I think you'll find the footballing world totally understands Spurs stance of pay our asking price or there is no deal, and that includes players, just obviously not Kane.
