If we are paying anywhere near 100m for Grealish, then 150/160m for Kane is a fair deal.

Crazy money but unlike Grealish , Kane's record is outstanding and he has proved himself for numerous years.

Let's hope the "gentleman's" agreement is real and is in his contract, otherwise this will be a long drawn out battle and whatever we think, Spurs are in the box seat.

46m a year but with sponsors tv money and Levy ripping of the spurs fans with 60k Capacity stadium paying it back will be no problem! Football in this country and around the world is enormous so can’t see the tv money ever dropping of!

In absolute terms maybe not but in relative terms a £46m debt and no CL money is a huge disadvantage and hardly the economics to launch an attack on the top 4.

This is all playing out great for Levy, its going to be all on Kane now and Levy will just parrot "I had no choice, he forced it, look at how hes fucked us over, make sure you boo him". Then Levy will replace him with Andy Carroll on a free and the spuds fans will believe in Levy the master and how hes has had our pants down.

It is madness from Kane. I don't see how anyone wins from this. All it does is entrench Levy more and makes it more difficult for a deal to be done (with either a new club or with Kane if there is no deal). Also it makes Kane look terrible and by association City.

If Kane has this gentleman's agreement with Levy that he can leave, then Kane is correct in taking this stance and trying to force the issue. If City walk away and he ends up staying at Spurs you will have a very unhappy player causing unrest in the squad.

As someone who preferred Haaland, nothing has gotten me more pumped up for this than seeing the reaction of everyone else and particularly Spurs fans.

The fact they've gone from "He's one of our own, best striker in the world, club legend forever" to "Snake, prick, never turns up in big games" in <24 hours is absolutely hilarious.

I've just seen Spurs fans convince themselves they're more likely to win the CL than City - despite being in the UEFA Conference league.
