Didn’t he say in the end of season think Kane will do what’s best for Spurs or something along them lines? If so that’s not a man saying he wants Kane to stay no matter what, no matter the price? Surely that’s the answer you give when that’s your stance?I simply do not see the evidence that Levy is a willing seller. He says, for what it is worth, in the press he is not. You claim that Kane will be unhappy if the deal collapses. Maybe? So what? He’ll have to get on with it. If he really wanted to go he would’ve have signed the contract. And the so called gentlemen’s agreement? What evidence is there that it exists? What did it say? The deal is obviously still probable but it feels increasingly flakey.
