Trouble is if this is similar to the Sanchez-Lemar situation where we took it down to the last days,we reach an agreement but Spurs want to get their incomings sorted out first..Just like Arsenal then,Spurs aren't as an attractive side to the top players,and if they can't get a replacement,he might have to stay. Spurs' incompetence in the market might be the biggest hurdle

Exactly. There’s a massive worry that we’ve been offered Ronaldo on the ‘cheap’ and turn it down for Kane despite that being far from certain.

On the face of it, it’s an envious position to be in but we could say no to Ronaldo for Kane and end up getting neither.

whats bizarre about it, sometimes deals dont happen because a buying club isnt prepared to offer what a selling club wants, or the selling club wont sell. These stalemates happen every transfer window.

im sure there is no disconnect whatsoever, Pep has worked with the board long enough and has been a manager long enough to know that deals dont always happen.
